Pre School Classes

We will be running 2 classes:

  • 2-3 years Parent/Child - Coach led Structured gymnastics - Thursdays 09:45-10:30am

  • 3-4 years Independent - Structured gymnastics - Thursdays 11:00-11:45am

Preschool gymnastics sessions

Our specially designed preschool gymnastics sessions are a great way of introducing your child to the exciting world of gymnastics an amazing sport which helps children develop life-long skills in our safe & nurturing environment.

During both the parent/carer supported and independent structured classes your budding gymnasts will learn to move & roll in different ways, swing on the bars, jump along the tumble track, walk along the balance beams & much more as they step into the wonderful world of gymnastics

‘Beam Babies’

2-3 years Parent/Child - Coach led Structured gymnastics

During these 45min sessions parents and coaches work together as they introduce children to the exciting world of gymnastics. Focusing on the development of different movements & shapes, social skills & building confidence in a fun, safe & nurturing environment

Parents/carer help & encourage their children throughout the session to reassure and help them become familiar with the environment.

‘Little Leapers’

3-4 years Independent - Structured gymnastics

 Our high-energy structured 45-minute sessions are led by our experienced qualified pre-school coaches. The sessions are for children aged 3-4yrs and focus on developing the basics of gymnastics incorporating independence and social skills.

Parents must stay on-site for the duration of the sessions, but are no longer required to participate in the class you can sit back and relax with a coffee

Our preschool classes help with children’s all-round development:

  • The structured movements and Physical challenges help children develop coordination, balance, flexibility and strength

  • Our routines involving moving through spaces in different ways and jumping over obstacles will aid cognitive development with spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.

  • Working together in a group or with a partner help children develop teamwork and cooperation skills and learn to communicate and collaborate

  • Children will gain a sense of accomplishment and a boost of their self-esteem as they learn new skills and overcome challenges also helping build confidence.

  • Finally teaching young children they can be successful at physical skills from an early age encourages them to be active and aware of their bodies helping with future fitness and healthy lifestyles
