COMPETITIVE SQUADS
This is the first step onto the competitive ladder and involves the gymnasts committing to multiple training sessions per week.
A lot of time is spent on improving gymnasts strength, flexibility and co-ordination which will safely allow them to develop the higher level skills for County, Regional and National competitions. Gymnasts will train from 2 - 15 hours per week with the chance to represent the County, Region and Nation.
In order for each gymnast to reach their full potential we provide various paths to follow. All gymnasts are indiviudals and will develop at their own rate. Our vision and pathway is to support each gymnast to help them be the best they can be whilst providing and stimulating environment to enjoy their gymnastics. Gymnasts are grouped according to their ability, development stage, commitment and individual needs.
FOUNDATION 1 & 2
Foundation 1 - Ages 5-7. Train 6 Hours a week.
Foundation 2 - Ages 7-9. Train 6-10 Hours a week.
Gymnasts in these squads will be working towards their age appropriate levels.
GFA 1,2,3
GFA - Ages 8-16. Train 2 or 4 Hours a week.
Gymnasts in these squads will be working towards the regions GFA competitions, Local friendly competitions and some gymnasts may work towards levels.
Regional Squad
Regional - Ages 10-18. Train 11 Hours a week.
Gymnasts in these squads will be working towards their regional grades and appropriate levels .
Classic Challenge
Classic Challenge - Ages 10-18. Train 14.5 Hours a week.
Gymnasts in these squads will be working towards their appropriate levels .
National Squad
National - Ages 9-16. Train 14 Hours a week.
Gymnasts in these squads will be working towards the appropriate NDP Grade and Levels .
BOYS SQUAD
The Squad is for boys that are ready for the next level of advanced skills on each apparatus, Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars & High Bar. Our Boys Squad compete in county and regional competitions throughout the year.
